“A Scout group, like an army, marches on its stomach!”
The words from this week’s Advertiser, who came to report on the Jumble Sale on Saturday. The figures are yet to come in, but we expect around £300 were raised at the event last week, with around £200 in notes alone. The money will go towards a total of £2,000 to refurbish the kitchen in the Scout Hut.
